Journey of a Guide Dog
This free interactive seminar is presented by CNIB
Join us for a one-hour information session with Lindsay from the Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB) to learn about the incredible journey of a guide dog. During this session, you'll discover where guide dogs come from, how the public plays a crucial role in raising these amazing animals, and the life-changing impact they have on their handlers.
Lindsay will share powerful stories about her personal experience with her guide dog, Charles, and how these dogs instill confidence and independence in the lives of those they assist.
In addition, we will have informative handouts available for anyone interested in learning more about the process of puppy raising and the guide dog journey.
