Petapolooza brings together pet owners and enthusiasts within our community. It gives our community the opportunity to meet industry professionals, rescue groups, and others in the pet industry.

Join SoperCreek Wildlife and learn how you can become an Animal Ambassador.

This show is perfect for everyone but especially children.  You will learn about native wildlife, how to protect them and of course have the opportunity to get up close and personal with a few of them!

Join Animal Services, High Five Kids Dental and the Pickering Public Library as we launch this years Tails of Hope Short Story Contest!

Local children’s book author Sue Palmer will share with you her story “Just Ben Goes to the Forest”.

Afterwards, illustrator Lynn Palmer will show everyone a few tricks and tips on how to draw your furry friend. Attendees will have the opportunity to test out their newfound skills and become budding artists.

For the safety of all attendees, we encourage any dogs that do not do well with people, crowds, loud noises, or other dogs to be left at home. Please note, all dogs entering any City event must comply with the Responsible Pet Ownership By-law (6811/07) and the Dog Owners Liability Act. Dogs that have characteristics like a Pit Bull (under the act) must wear a muzzle.
