Event Details:

‘Spinster’ used to mean someone who spun wool. Experience the texture and softness of fleece as you work with our Museum Interpreter to wash, pick and card wool. Then, you'll try your hand, and practice the art of spinning fleece into yarn on a drop spindle. The program fee includes a museum-made drop spindle for you to keep, and a hank of fleece to use in the program to get you started!
