Feel the soil between your fingers as you harvest fresh produce and herbs from our orchards and gardens.  Learn to prepare, pickle, or preserve it the way early Pickering inhabitants did.  This program includes hands-on harvesting, a heritage food recipe, a mini food prep session, and an opportunity to take home what you've made.  Everything can be made in your kitchen at home!

Workshop costs $22 per person.  Pre-registration is required in advance via ActiveNet or in person at the Pickering Museum Village gift shop.
