Digging the Underground Railroad: Archaeology and African Canadian History with Karolyn Smardz Frost.

Award-winning author, Karolyn Smardz Frost, will talk about the life of freedom-seeker Cecelia Jane Reynolds who fled Kentucky slavery by way of Niagara Falls in 1846. Twin excavations in Toronto and upstate New York help show her last days in slavery and her new life in freedom.
